Lynsey joined Lee OBGYN in January 2019 upon completion of graduate school. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing (Adult Gerontology & Women’s Health Specialties).

 

Lynsey is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is Board Certified by the Alabama Board of Nursing.

Lynsey is married to Joshua Smith and they have two sones. She loves spending time with her husband and sons, duck hunting, kayaking, and taking trips to the beach. Lynsey and her husband attend First Baptist Church of Opelika. An interesting fact about Lynsey is that she found her love of women’s health after taking part in an undergraduate study abroad trip that focused on gynecologic exams and pap smears to native Peruvian women.
