Abbie Knight earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), graduating cum laude with Honors. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at UAB in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner track and is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC). 

 

She spent the majority of her nursing career in Labor and Delivery at UAB Hospital, a Level IV high-acuity obstetric center, gaining extensive experience in obstetric management and surgical care. She later worked at Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Endocrinology and Diabetes, caring for patients with complex hormonal and reproductive conditions. 

 

Abbie is originally from Hoover, Alabama but has relocated to Auburn to join our provider team in 2026. She enjoys running, hiking, creative art, and spending time with family and friends.
