Preguntas frecuentes
Q: What is KLARA?
A: Lee OBGYN is proud to announce we are now using KLARA, a HIPAA compliant text messaging system to help patients communicate directly with our office staff in a quick and easy manner. KLARA is not an Artificial Intelligence (AI) service. Patients may text the office directly at 334-339-6177. Text messages are answered by our in house staff members in the order in which they are received.
Q: Do you offer mammograms? A: Lee OBGYN now offers 3D screening mammograms to our patients. While our goal is to offer the convenience of scheduling an annual wellness exam and mammogram on the same day, this is not required. Patients may schedule their mammogram as a stand alone appointment or in conjunction with any other appointment. Our mammography calendar is open 1 year in advance so you may schedule your next mammogram at checkout. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer this service to patients with Medicaid. Patients with Medicaid may contact the Alabama Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (ABCCEDP). Q: How can I get FMLA paperwork completed? A: Patients who need FMLA or short-term disability paperwork completed will need to provide the following items: paperwork from their employer and a signed Release of Information form and a $30 processing fee (per form). Forms may be submitted through KLARA, our HIPAA compliant messaging service, or brought into the office in person. Once all items have been received, our staff will complete the forms. Please keep in mind, this may take anywhere from 5-10 days to complete. Patients will be notified once the forms are ready for pickup.
Q: How can I pay my bill online?
A: The easiest way to pay your bill is through the Patient Portal or HEALOW app. These systems will allow you to pay your co-pay when you arrive for your appointment, pay your bill conveniently online and provide you with a receipt for your records all while saving you time!
Q: I have a question about my bill. What is the easiest way to get in touch with someone from billing directly?
A: The easiest way to reach our Billing Department directly is to message us through KLARA. Messages are addressed in the order in which they are received. Q: How do I get prescriptions refilled? A: The most efficient way to process a prescription refill is by requesting a refill through your pharmacy. If there are changes to your medication, please use our Patient Portal system. Please allow 48 hours for these requests to be processed.
